IRONTON — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers say they arrested two Michigan residents after a traffic stop.

The OSHP say troopers stopped a 1991 Honda Accord on U.S. 52 near milepost 18 about 3:29 a.m. Friday. According to troopers, the driver attempted to discard contraband.

The OSHP say they seized 12 unit doses of heroin, 275 Alprazolam tablets and Suboxone during the stop.

Patricia Blacburn and Kevin McDonald, both of Michigan, were charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.

I totally agree with you Jaderianne. And I have to tell you, that was well said. People coming from outta state ought to know they are gonna get pulled over here even if the do a fraction of of a traffic mistake. Sometimes I can't believe these people would be so stupid carrying drugs thru the Michigan, Ohio drug pipeline, knowing we're crakin down hard on these stupid activities.

So I still hafta say I totally agree with what you said Jaderianne!!! Keep Thinkin Like That Hun!!!

If the law inforcement would crack down on these out-of-towners who keep trying to think they can keep dealing drugs in and around Portsmouth and set an example by them, just maybe we can then call it a controlled substance,,,ya think? It amazes me that people never give up or they just aren't reading the newspaper about people coming from out of state getting busted.OH! But again they are drug addicts,,,it's all about making that almighty dollar. The dollar they could make by doing something legal called WORKING!!!
