Portsmouth’s pet dragon

Did you know that Portsmouth has it’s own little pet dragon? It eats money by the millions blows a lot of smoke and makes tons of waste. This dragon has been in our city since 1928 and through the good ole days with a peak population of forty thousand and thousands of citizens working to now, we have only a few hundred with jobs and half the population. But the dragon has more hunger and produces more smoke and waste than ever before, to the point that the citizens can no longer afford to feed it. But the dragon senses the lack of the poor worker to continue to feed it more money, so the dragon blows more smoke and fire until it scares the non-working citizens into throwing more money into its mouth in fear of losing what little safety or comfort the dragon has given them in past years.

If you haven’t figured out the name of our pet dragon let me give you some hints! The dragon has given himself the best health care at a cost of only $50 a month to him but thousand to you taxpayers.

He’s always looking for a new lavish home, and takes advantage of the citizens of this small city in the heart of the rust belt by giving them false hope and promises. Look out folks he’s hungry again and wants more of your hard earned money. It’s time we stood up to this wasteful monster and go in masses in November and vote no on another city income tax increase. In case you haven’t figured out the name of our dragon by now, it’s Portsmouth City Council.
