The Potter’s House Ministries Inc. offers assistance in several areas.The staff assists with HEAP applications by appointment or walk-in from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday or 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Bring proof of income, birth certificate, electric bill, gas bill, Social Security cards, and general household information and rent receipts. Assistance also is offered when applying for Food Stamps, Children’s Health care insurance, HEAP, child care subsidies, FAFSA forms, Ohio Works First, Ohio Medical Assistance for the Aged, Blind and Disabled, Register to Vote, Medicare Rx Extra Help. Call Potter’s House Ministries for an appointment for the counselors to help apply for these services through the Ohio Benefit Bank at (740) 776-4004.
