SOC Softball All-Star list revealed

The Southern Ohio Conference released its list of First and Second Team selections for both Divisions I and II.

On the Division I list, Symmes Valley landed three players on First Team and two on Second Team while first time league champion Notre Dame had three on the first list and another on the second. Clay also had multiple entries on both lists with three apiece.

The Lady Titans’ Miranda Pauley shared Player of the Year honors with Clay’s Jordan Jenkins. Pauley and Jenkins are step-sisters.

Darrell Keller from Notre Dame was honored as SOC I Coach of the Year.

On the SOC II list, league champion Valley lead all schools with three players on First Team and two on Second team. Minford and West each had two players on both lists.

Valley’s Braiden Dillow was honored as SOC II Player of the Year. Minford coach Preston Messer took home league Coach of the Year honors.

Among many errors in the article, ND was NOT undefeated in the SOC, losing to Clay 9-4 on May 16th, and Tori Osborne and Missy Buckley graduated a year ago. Maybe you should fix the article and run it again. Sloppy work.
