Dorothy Louise Jeffords, 75, of Jackson, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson. Born April 28, 1936 in Minford, she was the daughter of the late Lehman and Grace Deemer Crabtree and retired as a laundry aide in Indianapolis, Ind.

She is survived by her husband, William Jeffords; one brother, Harold Crabtree of Minford; three sisters, Edna Allen of Georgia, Nancy Lundy of Newark and Faye McKenzie of Wellston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lowell Crabtree, Russell Crabtree, and Paul Crabtree, and one sister, Helen Roberts.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bob Jones officiating. Burial will be at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford.
