Rodney L. Webb, age 71, of S.R. 73, McDermott, Ohio, died 6:35 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.

He was born October 31, 1939 in Otway, Ohio, a son of the late Oakley and Etta Robinson Webb.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara O’Dell Webb, two sons, John Webb and wife Nickie and their son Oakly of Franklin, Ohio, and Gary Webb and his daughter Riane of Otway, Ohio, one daughter, Robin Webb Ramey and husband Shawn and their son Nicholas of  Panama City, Florida, two great-grandchildren, Laken and Gage, and two brothers, Thomas (Gene) Webb of Xenia, Ohio, and Roger Webb of McDermott, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee Roy, Larry, and Jack Webb.

Rodney was a retired auto salesman, attended Lombardsville Community Church, and was an Air Force veteran.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor George Vastine officiating. Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
