OSHP: Drugs seized in traffic stop

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that troopers initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 23 at mile post 15 in Ross County about 9:17 a.m. Thursday. After finding criminal indicators at the scene, troopers said a patrol canine discovered about 84 grams of crack cocaine on the driver, Penelope Dupuie of Milton, W.Va.

Dupuie was charged with possession of crack cocaine, giving false information to a law enforcement officer and driving without a valid driver’s license.

The street value of the crack cocaine was about $12,600.
