The contest will take place online. Photos can be submitted beginning May 13 and continue throughout the contest. A photograph for each cute kid entered in the contest will be posted at portsmouth-dailytimes.com. All entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo.
Voting will begin June 1. All voting will also be done online, with up to five votes allowed per email address each day. The contest closes at 5 p.m. June 15, after which the votes will be tallied and the winner of each age group will be announced in the Daily Times in time for Father’s Day.
Entries will be divided into categories by the age of the child in the photo, based on the age the child is now, not at the time the photo was taken. The age groups are Newborn (0-12 months), Toddler (12-24 months), 2-4 years old, 4-6 years old, 6-9 years old, 9-12 years old.
