Deputies were dispatched to the bank about 4:04 p.m. Sgt. Dan Malone said he spoke with bank employees, who told him the suspect walked in and said, “This is a robbery. Give me all of your hundreds and fifties, no packs. Come on, hurry up.”
Employees said after the man received the cash he walked out of the bank and ran between Taco Bell and the Ponderosa building toward Ameristay Hotel.
Detectives Paul Blaine and Denver Triggs processed the scene.
“We don’t normally get pictures this good from surveillance cameras,” Scioto County Chief Deputy Todd Miller said of the images taken from the security cameras. “These are fairly clear. Someone will recognize him.”
