Lillie Mae Jordan Chamblin, 67, of Stout, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 15, 1944, in West Portsmouth, to the late John and Vada Musser Long. She was a retired cook from the Washington-Nile school district and attended Upper Blue Creek Tabernacle Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Edward Chamblin whom she married Sept. 1, 2006, two grandchildren; Minnie Kathryn Holsinger and Daniel Edward Jordan.

Lillie is survived by two sons, Daniel (Christy) Jordan of Stout, and David (Sandy) Jordan of West Portsmouth; three daughters, Patricia (David) Holsinger of Stout, Brenda (Wayne Shepherd) Blanton of West Portsmouth, and Rebecca (Henry) Zapf of West Portsmouth; a step daughter, Dertha (Larry) Tackett; four brothers, Wayne Long of Portsmouth, Clarence, Bill, and Doug Long all of Lucasville; three sisters, Betty Blevins, Bonnie Bair, and Shirley Madden all of Lucasville; 17 grandchildren, Travis, Martin and Jacob Holsinger, Destiny Blanton, Jessica and Ned Shepherd, Duane Shepherd II, Hank and Andy Zapf, David Jordan Jr., Mitchell, Miguel and Blake Tackett, Hunter Jordan; and five great grandchildren, Matthew and William Evans, Kaleb and Sophia Shepherd and Ryder McCormick.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating and interment in McKendree cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, and one-hour prior to the service on Saturday.
