She was born October 23, 1919 in Portsmouth to the late James and Charlotte Houch Kitchen. She attended Bible Chapel Church and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Along with her parents Louise was preceded in death by her husband Issac Wilson Thompson who she married on September 24, 1938 in Portsmouth, 2 sons; James (Dean) Thompson and Robert Thompson a sister Bernice Cassidy and brothers; Goble, Ed and Cleo Kitchen.
Louise is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ron and Patty Thompson of West Portsmouth, a brother Ora Ktchen of West Portsmouth, 11 grandchildren along with several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with ministers: Dean and Danny Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Monday and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
