He was born on April 3, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH to Billy and Marilyn (Smith) Allard and was a graduate of Minford High School, class of 1981. Monty was co-owner of The Grounds Team landscaping company and enjoyed whittling, Nascar, cars, all sports, and the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Mollett) Allard of Sciotoville; three children, Aaron, Austan, and Alex Allard, all of Sciotoville; two brothers, Jeff (Diane) Allard of Sciotoville, and Tim Allard of New Boston; father-in-law Del Mollett and his wife, Tracy; mother-in-law Bonnie Mollett; sisters and brothers-in-law, John and Kathy Groves, Kelly Mollett, Del and Angie Mollett, Caitlyn Hendrickson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Billy, as well as his parents.
Funeral services for Monty Allard will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Gordon Boggs officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 18th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the services on Saturday. Arrangements are being handled by Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home of Sciotoville.
