Just a few days before making a second trip to the state final four in the past three years, the Oak Hill girls team were recognized on a state level for their achievements.

No bigger honor went to coach Doug Hale, who shared Division III All-Ohio Coach of the Year honors with Anna's Jack Billing. The Rockets are also in the state final four, playing in the other semifinal against Fort Recovery.

While Hale was named as co-coach of the year, junior Breanna Butler was named to the First Team. Classmate Lakin Caudill, who shared co-district player of the year honors with Butler, was placed on the Second Team. Teammate Taylor Hale was named to the Honorable Mention list.

Three SOC II athletes were also honored with All-Ohio accolades. Minford's Kendra Justice and Valley's Whitney Bear were named Special Mention while West's Tori Leader made Honorable Mention. Peebles' Shaylin McDaniels also made Honorable Mention.

In Division IV, four players from the SOC I were honored for their play. Beaver Eastern's Courtney Rowe and Clay's Holly Hempill were named Special Mention. Rowe's teammate, Rachel Staker, and Notre Dame's Jen Arnzen were given Honorable Mention honors.
