Members of the Knights of Columbus of St. Peter and St. Monica Parishes will have their annual Lenten Fish Fry, beginning on March 11 and continuing each Friday through April 15. The Fish Fry will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s parish hall, 2167 Lick Run-Lyra Road, Wheelersburg.
Meals will include fried and baked fish, slaw, freshly made french fries, roll and drink. Cost will be $7 for adults, $3 for children under 13, and ages 3 years and under free. The Ladies Guild will provide a variety of desserts for a small additional charge.
Celebrity dinner is March 15
The Counseling Center’s third annual Celebrity Dinner and Auction on March 15 will have something fun for everyone. Judge Steve Mowery and Asa Jewett will be one of 20 plus volunteer Celebrity Chefs who will be sharing one of their favorite recipes on March 15 at the SOMC Friends Center from 6 to 9 p.m.
Those attending the dinner will able to sample all of the “chefs” dishes in addition to a buffet dinner included in the ticket price of $25. For more information regarding reservations contact Amy Huffman (740) 354-3829, ext 234. Deadline for reservations is March 10.
