Lenora May Jones, 85, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in the SOMC emergency room.

Born Oct. 4, 1925, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Thelma Wood Bolton, and a fancy stitcher at U.S. Shoe Mfg in Vanceburg, Ky.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Francis Jones; brothers Eddie & Richard Bolton; and a sister, Emma Lou Billinger.

Surviving are a son, Johnny Jones of Minford; a former daughter-in-law, Linda Jones of Sciotoville; sisters Barbara Kelley of Wheelersburg; twins Faye & Kay of Las Vegas; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be 11:30 a.m. at the Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum with Alvin Breech, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 9 until 11 a.m. on Friday.
