Gary Lee Osborne, 64, of Lucasville, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

He was born July 4, 1946 in Scioto Co., Ohio, a son of the late Emmitt and Dorothy Armstrong Osborne.

Gary was a former self-employed truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Osborne; and one sister, Dorothy Mae Morgan.

He is survived by two brothers, Earl Osborne of Lucasville and Richard Leon Osborne of Firebrick, Ky.; five sisters, Susie Yonce of Portsmouth, Della McGuire of Friendship, Norma Breech of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Patricia Copas and Rose Stevens, both of Lucasville; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Dennis Osborne and Jess Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Big Run Cemetery. Military services will be conducted by the William A. Baker and James Irwin Posts of the American Legion. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday before the funeral.
