Taxes should be determined by the taxpayers

Is it just me or does all the talk about extending tax cuts sound a bit upside down? Shouldn't the debate be about how many of our dollars that we wish to let Congress have?

Where is it written that a politician can demand more and more from us? No one that I know complains about just and reasonable taxes for taking care of the country, paving roads and building schools. This is necessary and so is taking care of those that cannot take care of themselves. But why should my money go to support an able-bodied person that wish to go to Congress and spend 20 years letting me and my fellow worker furnish him a good lifestyle and salary.

Maybe it should be up to the American people how much our representatives are paid? If you do a great job there will be more money, if not then you may just be demoted. Sounds fair to me.

What it all comes down to is you have a group of know-nothing, fat bureaucrats that feels your paycheck belongs to them. You and your family doesn't matter to them — only your money.
