Rush trustees set meetings

The trustees of Rush Township have set the regular monthly meetings for 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the maintenance building, 75 Barker St., McDermott.

Bloom trustees set meetings

The trustees of Bloom Township have set the regular month meetings for 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Pinkerman Building, 7250 Bennett Schoolhouse Road, South Webster.

Statements are available

A copy of the unaudited financial statements of the Wheelersburg Local School District for Fiscal Year 2010 is available for public review at the treasurer’s office, 620 Center St., Wheelersburg, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Kids on Campus returns to SSU

For an experience children won’t forget, a holiday certificate of registration can be purchased for Shawnee State University’s popular Kids on Campus summer academic enrichment program that returns to campus in 2011.

All children currently enrolled in first through eighth grades can attend. Kids on Campus offers more than 40 different courses, from dancing, cheerleading and guitar to sports, science projects, baking, art and photography — too numerous to list all of them but enough classes to choose from to keep the student’s interest.

Kids on Campus will meet Monday, June 27, through Thursday, June 30, 2011. The classes are already scheduled and the program planning is complete. 

University Outreach Services is offering a special early holiday registration opportunity that is available through Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, and it offers a discount of up to 50 percent off the registration fee.
