Campbellsville owns a one point lead over second place Georgetown College and a 3-1/2 point lead over third place University of the Cumberlands. Lindsey Wilson College is fourth followed by Shawnee State University and University of Rio Grande who are fifth and sixth respectively.
West Virginia University Tech, University of Virginia's College at Wise, Pikeville College and St. Catharine College round out the 10-school season-long all-sports competition.
Campbellsville leads at the conclusion of the fall season — which includes men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball — with 47 points. Georgetown is second with 46 points and Cumberlands is third with 43.5 points.
Points are awarded based on the final regular season standings for each conference-sanctioned sport. The regular season champion in each sport receives 10 points, second place receives nine points, etc.
At the conclusion of the 2010-11 season, the top six male and top six female team finishes for each institution will generate the institution's overall totals and thus the MSC President Cup winner.
Lindsey Wilson ends the fall season fourth with 42.5 points and Shawnee State is fifth earning 41 points. Rio Grande is sixth with 35 points, West Virginia Tech is seventh with 20.5 points and UVa.-Wise is eighth with 20 points. Pikeville and St. Catharine obtained 16 and 8.5 points respectively in the fall.
Shawnee State leads the way for the most first place finishes in the fall as the Bear men's and women's cross country teams won their sport's championship outright. The Shawnee State volleyball team shared the MSC regular season crown with Georgetown.
Georgetown claimed its second first-place finish with a regular season title in football while Lindsey Wilson women's soccer and Rio Grande men's soccer also claimed regular season championships during the fall.
The winter edition of the MSC President's Cup standings are scheduled to be announced in mid-March, 2011, following the completion of the men's and women's basketball, cheerleading and wrestling seasons.
