WHEELERSBURG — Authorities say three children died Saturday night in a fire at a mobile home in Wheelersburg.

According to WSAZ, the Scioto County Sheriff's Office confirmed the names of three children as 4-year-old Dwayne C. Stacey, 2-year-old Emily R. Stacey and 11-month-old Alexis S. Stacey, who all were trapped in the burning home.

A spokesman for the state fire marshal says the children's father and another relative were injured trying to save the three children.

WSAZ reports the father's name is Michael Stacey.

Investigators will release the cause of the fire after autopsies are completed. No smoke alarms were found in the home.

The state fire marshal says 143 fire-related deaths have been reported in 2010.
