Christmas Flower Show is Thursday
It is rare in the Christmas season to be invited to a non-stressful, beautiful event, where nothing is for sale, and refreshments are served, but that is exactly the situation for a Christmas Flower Show scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 2. Three Garden Clubs have joined forces to produce a holiday flower show, “Christmas Delight,” featuring creative and traditional designs and wreaths. Minford, Slocum and Willow Garden Clubs are issuing an invitation to the general public to tour this holiday show at Glendale Community Hall, Glendale Road, Clarktown, between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. All entries will have been judged before 1 p.m., and the show winners will have ribbons on display. Light refreshments will be served. Additional information is available by calling Pam Scarfpin at (740) 820-8409.
