She was born April 21, 1943, in Lewis County, KY, to the late Claude U. McKee and Mildred Marie Welch McGlone.
Carol was a bookkeeper for the former Loft Painting Company, and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she worked in the children’s ministry. She was an active member of the SOMC Life Center, and was a 1960 graduate of Lewis County High School.
Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Henry Frazee; and two sons, Daniel Lawrence Thomas and Eric Todd Frazee.
Surviving are her husband, Larry R. Thomas, whom she married Aug. 12, 1973, in West Portsmouth; a son, Matthew Shane Thomas of Columbus; three daughters, Roni Sue (Scott) Pickard of West Portsmouth, Kelly Ann (Mike) Martin of Minford, and Crystal Gail (Brandon) Moore of Minford; two sisters, Glena Good of Hickory, NC, and Geneva Bauer of Texas; and six grandchildren, Josh Thomas, Darren Martin, Casi Pickard, Derek Pickard, Brianna Moore and Colton Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Pastor Ryan Brown officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m.
