The South Webster Jeeps utilized the 10-run mercy rule Thursday, beating the Oak Hill Oaks 12-1 in five innings.

Bradley Gee went the distance for his fourth victory of the season, allowing four hits and one hit over his five innings of work. He also struck out five batters.

“Brad has been extremely reliable for us on the mound this year,” Jeeps manager Ryan McClinic said. “His consistency gives us a great chance to win each time we run him out there, he’s just a true competitor.”

Leading the offense for South Webster was Shane Zimmerman, Trevor Coriell and Blake Fulk. Zimmerman and Coriell both went 2-for-3 with a triple. Zimmerman recorded two RBIs while Coriell notched one. Fulk finished the game 3-for-3 with two RBIs.

The Jeeps recorded 10 hits over their four hits at the plate.
