Jeeps take out Mohawks, 12-2

The South Webster Jeeps picked up a win against one of their SOC II foes, the Northwest Mohawks Monday evening, by a final score of 12-2.

The Jeeps earned the win in five innings due to holding a lead of 10 or more runs.

Bradley Gee pitched all five innings for the Jeeps, allowing four hits, two runs, both unearned, and surrendering two walks. He also struck out eight Northwest batters.

Gee also led the way in hitting for the Jeeps, going 2-2 from the plate. He also drove in three runs in the game to help his own cause.

Three other South Webster batters also had two hits on the night, Shane Zimmerman, Nate Hadinger, and Troy Boggs.

The two SOC II teams will face each other again on Wednesday, this time at Northwest High School, with a 5:00 p.m. first pitch.
