The Valley Indians left South Webster High School Tuesday night with smiles on their faces, as they defeated the Jeeps 56-41, in an SOC II matchup.
The Indians had three players reach double figures in their win over the Jeeps Tuesday night.
Bryan Rolfe led the Indian offense in scoring, as he finished the night with 18 points. Rolfe hit six two-point field goals, and then was perfect from the free throw line, hitting all six of his attempts.
Aaron Linne scored 16 points against the Jeeps. Linne would hit three of Valley’s four three-pointers.
Bryce Romanello added 12 points to the Indian cause, including five two-point field goals.
Ryan Fenton’s South Webster Jeeps was limited to a pair of double figure scorers.
Shane Zimmerman led the Jeeps in scoring, as he tallied up 17 points against the Indians. Zimmerman was a threat from behind the arc, hitting three three-pointers.
Hunter Bennington had a pair of twos and a pair of threes to end the night with 10 points for South Webster.
The Jeeps will be in action again on Friday night, as they travel to West Portsmouth to take on the Senators. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
The Valley Indians will be on the road again to face the Waverly Tigers on Friday evening. Game time is set for around 7:30 p.m.
