West volleyball sweeps Valley

The West Senators (3-2, 1-1 SOC II) picked up a conference win on Thursday, sweeping the Valley Indians 25-13, 25-12, 26-24 in Lucasville.

The Senators were led by junior Terra Butcher, who recorded team highs in kills (11) and blocks (four). Madisyn Dillow and Haleigh Throckmorton also had big offensive nights, recording seven kills apiece.

Dillow also led the way defensively for West, recording a team-high 21 digs.

The Senators will take Labor Day weekend off before returning to the court on Tuesday, when they travel to Northwest. Valley is also in action next on Tuesday when they host Oak Hill.
