Tigers cross the ‘Peake

The Ironton Tigers will continue their tournament run after beating Chesapeake 45-28.

Ironton’s Jourdyn Barrow led all scorers with 17 points. Barrow scored from six field goals and five of six free throws. Supporting the Tiger effort was Ethan Wilson with 13 points from four-twos, one-three and two of two free throws.

Cole Mills led for the ‘Peake with 11 points. Mills scored one-two point field goal and three big shots from behind the arc.

The Tigers will continue on to meet the Minford Falcons at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Jackson.
