The Minford Falcons have fought their way into another round of sectionals after beating Crooksville at Jackson Tuesday night. The Falcons won with a final score of 69-58.

Leading for the Falcons was Matthew Gullett with 24 points. Gullett scored two-two pointers, three-three points and 11 of 12 free throws. Supporting Gullett were Kelton Kelly, Dillion Shepherd and Cameron Dalton. Kelly scored 16 points from five-two pointers. Adding 13 points was Shepherd with four-two pointers and five of eight free throws. Dalton scored four-two pointers and two of four free throws for a total of 11 points.

Eric Taylor led for Crooksville with 20 points from four-twos, one-three and nine of 12 free throws.

Minford will go on to play the Ironton Tigers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday at the Jackson Arena.
