Jeeps speed past Trojans

South Webster’s Alek Blevins goes in for a layup in the Jeep’s win over Portsmouth.


The South Webster Jeeps drove past the Portsmouth Trojans Monday night for a 64-38 win.

Matthew Shonkwiler led all scorers with 23 points.

Shonkwiler’s points came on four field goals, four-three pointers and three of seven free throws during the game. The Jeeps also got 13 points from Shane Zimmerman and 12 points from Alex Blevins.

The Trojans were led by Kendal Reynolds, who made 10 points. Reese Johnson added six.

The Trojans are scheduled to play at Gahs at 8 p.m. Friday. They will face Gallia Academy in tournament.
