The Clay Lady Panthers clawed through a tight home game against the Northwest Mohawks Monday night. Clay beat Northwest with a final score of 49-44.
Leading the Panthers to victory was Regan Osborn, who contributed 17 points. Osborn shot five-twos, one-three and made four of six free throws. Supporting Osborn was Jaelyn Warnock and Cam Delotell, who each had 11 points.
The Mohawks carried the two leading scorers of the team. Both Hannah Breech and Abby Baer brought 13 points each to the Northwest effort. Breech had three big shots from behind the arc, one two point field goal and made two of two free throws. Baer had five-two pointers and three of four free throws.
Clay will travel to Western on Thursday while the Mohawks goes on the road to South Webster to face the Jeeps.
