Turner lead Titan win

The Notre Dame Titans rocked the net Friday, scoring 60-53 against Western on the strength of Trevon Turner, who scored 18 points leading the game. Aaron Bazler assisted in the win with a two point shot that helped Titans clinch their lead in the third quarter.

Major contributors included Sam Kayser, who went into double digits, scoring 16 points for Notre Dame. Isiah Johnson also brought nine points, six rebounds and one steal; Grant Sparks scored eight points and had three rebounds; and Bazler had seven points and rebounds.

Notre Dame finished the game with a total of 37 rebounds, 14 of which were offensive and 23 of which were defensive. The Titans also had five steals.

Western will face off against Eastern on Friday while Notre Dame plays Clay at home on Wednesday.
