Shawnee State indoor track and field participated in the Tiffin Dragon Invitational on Saturday.

Adrian Ross had the best finish for the men, taking first in the 3000 meter run. Ross won the event by seven seconds, clocking in at 9:02.86. Blain Parker took third place in the mile run, with a time of 4:40.72. The Shawnee State 4×400 relay team placed sixth out of 11 teams in the event.

The Shawnee State women scored a trio of second place finishes, led by Alyssa Taylor’s 5:32.15 finish in the mile run, just four seconds off the lead. Brooke Smith finished second in the 800 meter run, logging a time of 2:29.97. Anna Havranek also brought home a second place finish, running a time of 10:59.97 in the 3000 meter run.

Shawnee State indoor track returns to action on Friday, January 27th when they travel to the Lake Erie Spire Invitational in Geneva, Ohio.
