St. Joe loses to Trimble

the St. Joseph girls basketball team lost to Trimble Saturday. The St. Joe Flyers were leading already through the first half of the game when Trimble regained control.

Trimble took over in the third quarter and continued to broaden the gap into the third.

Leading for the Flyers was Megan Riley with 10 points gained through two-two pointers and two-three pointers. Riley was the only Flyer to score in the double digits.

Sydney Hardy led for Trimble with 14 points gained through four-two pointers, one-three pointer and three of six free throws. She was followed by Emily Ward with 12 points.

The Flyers will go on to play on the road Tuesday against Rock Hill.
