Tigers beat out Bobcats

The New Boston Tigers beat the Green Bobcats in a close game, with a final score of 56-53 Friday night.

Green’s Tanner Kimbler led the Bobcats, scoring 23 points. He was followed by Tayte Carver with 19 points.

“Kimbler made 7 three pointers scored 15 second half points,” stated New Boston Head Coach Scott Jenkins.

Leading New Boston to victory and being the top scorer for the game was Kade Conley with 34.

“Conley scored 17 of the Tigers’ 24 4th quarter points,” Jenkins commented.

Green is now 2-9 overall and 0-5 in the Southern Ohio Conference I (SOC). Meanwhile, New Boston’s record moves to 3-5 overall, 1-3 in SOC I.

Green plays again Tuesday at Western. Also Tuesday night, New Boston will face the Eastern Eagels on the road.
