Indians lose to Hornets

The Coal Grove Lady Hornets hit the court Saturday for a stinger of a game, beating the Valley Indians 33-58.

Coal Grove had some big players, scoring major points against the Indians. Meanwhile, Maddie Wright led the Indians with four two pointers and two three pointers.

Valley Head Coach Mark Merritt was proud of several important players, stating, “Hannah Conley had 14 rebounds and Bailee Day pulled down 9. Bre Call had three assists. Valley’s record is 1-9 overall and 1-5 in the SOC (Southern Ohio Conference).”

The Lady Indians travels to Wheelersburg to play the Pirates on Monday.
