Lady Tiger lock down strong win

The New Boston Lady Tigers defeated Symmes Valley 54-68 in an away game Monday night. New Boston had Symmes Valley struggling to keep up as the Tiger overtook them in every quarter.

Tiger Kaylee Stone played an impressive game, scoring 19 points and having seven rebounds. The Tigers also had some big game come from a freshman. The young Lexus Oiler scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds and two steals. The Tigers played with a team that certainly shared the ball. All players contributed in a big way. Junior Ali Hamilton came on strong with 15 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. With Junior Mariah Buckley coming in right behind with 12 points, four rebounds, and four steals. Another freshman playing big was Taylen Hickman made some big plays and had 10 rebounds.

“It was a good all around solid win for our team at home tonight,” New Boston Coach Kayla Wiley stated. “We play East Thursday night. JV starts at 6.
