Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini reports that the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two sex offenders this week for reporting violations.
Donini said his detectives arrested Cody R. Deemer, 19, of 2431 “B” State Route 139 Portsmouth. Deemer was charged on Monday Dec. 10, 2012 for failure to change his address a felony of the first degree. Deemer is being held on a $50,000 bond and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court today.
Detectives and patrol units also arrested Thomas I. Moore, 20, who last used an address on Dry Run Road in West Portsmouth. Moore was arrested on South Street in Wheelersburg Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 and charged with failure to change his address, a felony of the first degree. Moore is also being held on a $50,000 and will appear Dec. 20, 2012 in Portsmouth Municipal Court.
Donini said his office is also seeking the whereabouts of Richard Colley, 24, whose last known address was Dever Branch road in Lucasville. Colley is wanted for failure to report and failure to verify his address. Colley is entered into the National Crime database as a wanted person and will be extradited anywhere in the U.S. Colley is believed to have moved from Ohio to possibly the New York area.
