The Scioto County Children Services Board of Directors has hired Dr. Lorra Fuller as the agency’s new director.
Fuller previously worked in the psychology department at the Ohio River Valley Juvenile Correctional Facility as a psychology assistant. She started at the facility in 2007 and was there until it closed.
She had also worked for the Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) board in Portsmouth as program director.
Fuller has her doctorate in clinical psychology.
“I took this job because I wanted to help the children and families of Scioto County,” Fuller said.
Previous Scioto County Children Services Director Lisa Wiltshire resigned earlier this year to take a job as bureau chief of Adult and Child Protection Services for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
