It’s a sad day when anyone is the victim of a robbery. Anyone who believes they have a right to someone else’s property is surely a defective individual. No matter how great or modern our society gets, there will always be the few who commit such crimes and there will always be a need for the police department and the fine work they do for us. However, the police cannot always be there while a crime is happening. This small fact is one of the reasons why so many law abiding citizens have taken the time and expense to complete the training and the back ground checks required to obtain a concealed carry permit.

The Atomic Credit Union, sadly enough, has posted their doors with the “criminal protection zone” sign that tells all law abiding CCW permit holders to stay away. It also tells criminals that it is illegal for anyone inside that business to possess a weapon. So when given a choice of which bank to rob, one with a guarantee that nobody will shoot back or one that may contain numerous permit holders as employees or customers, obviously the criminal will choose the one that guarantees his protection. I have read recently about some banks who actually post a “green concealed weapons permit holder friendly” sign on their door, welcoming law abiding permit holders, discouraging would be criminals and easing fears of employees about being a target simply because their employers advertises they protect criminals.

I am thankful that no one was hurt in this robbery and hopeful there will not be a next time.

It took 7 hours to arrest him but they are letting a man walk around who has a warrant for shooting someone, why aren't you arresting him? Good job ppd, I see through that white sheet of yours!
