The sentencing date for registered sex offender Wade Bales has been moved to August.

Bales, found to have violated his probation by having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl, was to have found out Friday if his probation would be revoked, and if he would be sent back to prison to complete part or all of his original sentence. However, Scioto County Common Pleas Court Judge William T. Marshall, has now moved the sentencing date to Aug. 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.

Bales was originally sentenced to four years and 11 months for a previous conviction for importuning and attempted pandering obscenity involving a minor, and began serving prison time on April 26, 2010. He was given a judicial release on Jan. 20, 2011, and according to Scioto County Chief Probation Officer Nick Ferrara, will have served 620 days on Aug. 1.

On May 25, Marshall ruled Bales violated his probation by having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl. Bales, 25, of 67 Jane Lane, Stout, Ohio, was found by Marshall to have had a consensual sexual relationship with the underage girl in direct violation of the rules established when he was released from prison.

“Specifically on his terms of probation, under 15J, he was to have no contact with minors and register as a sex offender,” Ferrara said during the May 25 hearing. “Based on the order from the court, he was ordered to have no contact with a minor. Also taking into consideration his prior record, I felt it was necessary to add it on to his general terms of probation so he would have that in writing.”

Bales had been sentenced in 2010 after being convicted of importuning and attempted pandering obscenity involving a minor. He became eligible for release from prison in 2011, and was placed under the Scioto County Probation Department, eventually under the supervision of Chief Probation Officer Nick Ferrara.

The alleged victim took the stand at Bales’ hearing and talked about her relationship with Bales, saying she had known him for years, and most recently became more acquainted with him since her family began to attend Minford Church of the Nazarene, pastored by Wade Bales’ father, Mark Bales.

Meanwhile, according to records in the Scioto County Clerk of Courts office, a civil lawsuit has been filed by the father of another underage girl against Minford Church of the Nazarene, Wade T. Bales and Mark Bales. The suit charges Mark Bales, as pastor of the church, was in a position to have forbade his son from participating in church-sponsored youth activities, of which the child mentioned in the suit was associated, putting her in a “dangerous position to be exposed to sexual advances of Wade Bales.”

I think this is funny! The stupid Moran needs to be stuck

In a maximum security prison and stay there. I knew bales and hope he rotes in prison and do not wish him the best in anything expect the longest sentence they can legally hand down to a sex offender. And his past shows this 3 times. Look that up frank and have even a bigger story of a serial sex offender caught by Sheriff Jodi Conkel orginally.
