With the addition of a reward and interviews by authorities, the search for Megan Lancaster continues.
The owner of the Community Counseling and Treatment Center has offered to double reward money up to $5,000 for anyone with information as to Megan’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, law enforcement continues to pursue all available information.
“We’re just following up on all leads,” Portsmouth Police Detective Ron Davis said. “We’ve had a couple of people of interest come in and we’ve interviewed them, just any lead coming in we’re still trying to track down.”
Lancaster, approximately 25 years old, who maintains an address in Wheelersburg, was last seen in the Wheelersburg area on or about April 3. Since then, posters have been placed in strategic locations in the Scioto County area with photos of Lancaster reminding area residents that all information, no matter how small, is needed by authorities.
Davis said Lancaster is known to frequent gas stations and convenient stores in Wheelersburg. A group of volunteers has planned a search in the Wheelersburg area on April 27 and 28. Her vehicle was found abandoned at a local business in Portsmouth. Her family has not had any contact with her since the date she was last seen.
Megan Lancaster is a white female, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes.
