A total of 82 Bikers of the Bikers For Christ Gathered at Tracy Park for a Benefit Ride held Sunday.

A total of 82 bikers participated in the Bikers For Christ Benefit Ride at Tracy Park on Sunday for Jenna Eichenlaub, a 21-month-old little girl who was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy II. Hundreds of people gathered to show their support by purchasing food, baked goods, t-shirts, and bracelets with the inscription,” Hope For Jenna” on them.
This was the first benefit ride for the Bikers For Christ, who has been in existence for 10 years.
“I am just blown away by how many people are here and that people care so much,” Jenna’s mother Jamie Eichenlaub said.
The family shared their gratitude towards those that attended the ride.
“I just want to say how grateful we are to everybody who came out to help us. It’s really overwhelming,” Jenna’s father Jim Eichenlaub said.
Roy Bennett, a regional elder of the Bikers for Christ said the goal was simple.
“What we are doing this for is, a girl named Jenna has a disease, and she is needing some financial help to buy some specialized equipment because of her medical condition. They asked us to get involved because of the Bikers For Christ Ministry. We’ve been able to meet with other clubs, and other people in the area as well, who wanted to ride as well. We are doing is leading the ride for them, a safe ride to help them raise money,” Bennett said.
Jerry Horton, south central elder of the Bikers for Christ Greater Portsmouth area said the credit belongs with those who assembled the event.
“We are here to help this family meet any medical needs that they have, and financial needs. The ladies that put this event on, asked us to handle the motorcycle portion of it. They did all of the work, and deserve all of the credit because they’ve worked very hard, and God bless them,” Horton said.
Inflatable rides, for kids, and a dunking machine for everyone were sources of amusement for the event as well. There were many smiling faces.
