Bengals vs. Vikings, Dec. 13... 1:00PM

Cincinnati has a tendency to play to the level of their opponent this year. If that holds true on Sunday, the best game of the NFL season could result.

The similarities of these teams are uncanny.

The most talented back in the league plays for Minnesota, in my opinion, while the Bengals have a healthy Cedric Benson (along with other options in the backfield). To counter the strong rushing attacks will be two excellent run defenses. Cincy is second while Minnesota is third against the run.

Unfortunately for the Bengals, Adrian Peterson might not be their biggest concern however. Brett Favre and gang seem to make magic for the highlight reel every week. I'm hoping for some INTs from Johnathan Joseph, Leon Hall and Chris Crocker, or maybe even Rey Maualuga. If there is one thing Cincy has done this season compared to the last... ten, it is play defense. All hail Mike Zimmer.

Offensively, Chad Ochocinco has been consistent and Carson Palmer is surprisingly making plays with legs when necessary. Just watch out for Jared Allen and his pals Pat Williams and Kevin Williams. A flashback to the last Bengal playoff game makes me queasy.

Special teams really could decide this game... in other words, kick it away from Percy Harvin!

Could there be a rematch in a few months? The odds are against it obviously. But, despite the undefeated teams remaining, I think at least one of these two teams will be in the Super Bowl.
