Luke Morgan threw five innings of one-hit, shutout baseball Monday night as visiting West defeated Minford 10-1 in SOC II play, halting Falcons coach Tim Martin from reaching career coaching victory 300 on his second try.

Adam Bricker and Daulton Kenyon had monster games for the Senators. Bricker was 2-for-3 with a walk, sacrifice, four runs batted in and a run scored while Kenyon went 2-for-2 with a triple, two walks, three RBIs and four runs scored.

West will host Northwest Wednesday.
