Two people escaped serious injury after a head-on collision on U.S. 23 at Rosemount Monday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by Cledith Blevins, 41, north bound on U.S. 23, went left of center and struck a south bound vehicle operated by Sandra Moore, 40, head-on. Blevins was extracted by members of the Clay Fire Department. Both were transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Blevins was cited for driving left of center.
