Scioto County Narcotics Agents seized pills, cocaine, marijuana, firearms and a large amount of cash in making three arrests Tuesday.

James L. Cattee, 39, of 131 Crain Road, West Portsmouth, is charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, both felonies of the fifth degree; Ruthie Solis, 28, of 4878 Swauger Valley Road, Portsmouth, is charged with possession of cocaine, also a fifth degree felony, and Jerome N. Green, 42, of 1015 Eight St., Portsmouth, arrested on a bench warrant issued by Portsmouth Municipal Court for violating probation.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said around 1:40 p.m. the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Cattee and 31-year-old Teri L. Hamilton on Crain Road.

“We had made some purchases of drugs there, and there had been some citizen complaints,” Scioto County Sheriff’s Captain David Hall said.

Donini said upon a search of the residence, vehicles and persons present in the residence, officers seized marijuana, cocaine, 111 hydrocodone 10 milligram pills, two firearms, and $933 in cash.

“A lot of people came in while we were there,” Hall said. “There were people there and a lot of people pulling up.”

All three were placed in the Scioto County Jail.

No charges were filed against Hamilton.

“We will be presenting more charges to the (Scioto County) Grand Jury for further consideration,” Hall said. “Additional charges may yet be filed.”

Donini said anyone wishing to leave drug information may contact the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit at (740) 351-1094 or e-mail drugs@sciotocountysheriff.com. All information will be kept confidential and anonymous.
