Post 23 capped the second half of its doubleheader against Waverly Post 142 with a convincing 13-1 win Wednesday evening.

Brett Hood Matched his 3-for-4 performance in the first game of the twin billing this time driving in four runs.

Tyler Sanford also had a solid performance at the plate going 3-for-4 and driving in two runs.

Will Howard went the distance for Post 23 allowing three hits, striking out 10 and walking only one. Post 143’s lone run was unearned.

Post 23 will travel to Athens today for a doubleheader. First pitch of the opening contest is slated for 5 p.m.
