Pike Co. burglar caught in the act

PIKETON —A Piketon man was reportedly caught in the act of burglarizing a home in Pike County on Wednesday.

According to Pike County Sheriff Richard Henderson, he and his officers responded to a complaint of a burglary in progress in the 16000 block of State Route 772 on Wednesday. When they arrived, they found Justin Blackburn, 20, of Piketon, inside the home.

Blackburn was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, felony theft, tampering with evidence, felony obstructing official business, and safe cracking. He was taken to the Scioto County Jail for holding on a $130,000 bond.
