One Injured In Greenup Mobile Home Fire

Greenup County EMS responded to a mobile home fire in the early morning hours Saturday, and transported a woman to Southern Ohio Medical Center.

“It was at 304 Short White Oak Road,” a 911 spokeswoman told the Portsmouth Daily Times. “We received the call at 7:22 this morning. One subject was transported by ground to the hospital.”

Russell Fire Department responded to the blaze, along with the Russell Police Department, Greenup County EMS and Flatwoods Police Department.

Early Sunday afternoon the chief of the Russell Fire Department remained at the scene, but a spokesman at the Department said a woman from the mobile home was taken to the hospital. No other details were available.
