The Division III State Baseball Champion Wheelersburg Pirates will be at Dakota’s Roadhouse in Portsmouth this evening for a meet and greet with the public.

The champion Pirates will have a free dinner compliments of Dakota’s Roadhouse Manager Michael Burke, who is a 2000 graduate of Wheelersburg High School.

Any member of the public that attends wearing Wheelersburg’s school colors of orange and black will receive 10 percent off their bill.

Wheelersburg defeated Lima Central Catholic 1-0 Saturday to capture their second state baseball championship in school history.

The State Champion Pirates are Brett Hood, Austin Boyer, Austin Hall, Jonathan Clevenger, Zachar Flanagan, Alex Shears, Derek Moore, Clay Massie, Derek Arthur, Ben Arnold, Zach Brown, Garrett Carmichael, Dylan Miller, Camron Parsley and Wade Martin.

The event is slated to begin 6 p.m. tonight at Dakota’s Roadhouse located at 1619 Chillicothe Street in Portsmouth.
